The first edition has "Ages 8 to adult" on the top left corner of the cover; the second has a broad yellow stripe along the bottom of the front cover with "Ages 8 to adult" on the lower left. The most obvious difference; the second edition says "2nd Edition" in an oval on the lower right corner of the front cover. The second edition was released originally by USAopoly but is now made by Parker Brothers / Hasbro.

This game was also released in several deluxe versions; one had a different box front, blue? instead of white, another had the word deluxe attached to the box. Both presumably featured the molded plastic characters instead of cardboard playing pieces.

This version contains "2000 Trivial Trivia Questions", comes in a square tin, larger than the original tin, measuring 10 1/2" by 10 1/2" by 2 3/4", with The Simpson family, Krusty, Flanders and Mr. Burns standing against a red background.

Contained in a small tin, much smaller than the regular tins but larger than the 'travel' version below, and we have no idea how many questions it contains or the duplication of those questions across the other versions.
