Bart joins the 4-H club (in order to be able to operate heavy farming equipment), where he and Lisa save a steer from slaughter, but when he gives it to a girl who lives on a farm, her father - Cletus - considers it a marriage proposal by Bart to his daughter NOTE: Cities in the Eastern and Central time zones with a 4:05 (Eastern) NFL game on Fox will get this episode joined in progress, if not pre-empted; a link to the map of cities will be put here when available, but Atlanta (and, most likely, Tampa as well) will definitely have a 4:05 Fox game

7:30 • Any Given Sundance (KABF11)

When Lisa makes a documentary film about her family for a school project, Principal Skinner talks her into entering it at Sundance, and "The Simpsons are going to..." Park City, Utah to see it, where the other Simpsons don't exactly appreciate the way they are portrayed

Fox is airing the premiere of Fringe at 8:00

September 21 • TRIPLE FEATURE

7:30 • All About Lisa (KABF13)

Lisa goes from being Krusty's assistant to star of her own show to Springfield award winner, but at what price?; Homer and Bart have a price of one penny - that is, the rare "Kissing Lincolns" penny

8:00 • Mona Leaves-a (KABF12)

Homer's mother returns for a visit, but when she dies, Homer decides to fulfill her final request of dumping her ashes, but it turns into another of Mona's schemes against society

8:30 • Papa Don't Leech (KABF09)

When Springfield goes after its owed back taxes, everybody pays but Lurleen Lumpkin, who goes into hiding with the Simpsons, only for Marge to bring her a surprise visitor - her estranged father, who quickly makes it clear why they were estranged when she sees The Dixie Chicks singing "his" new song

September 28 • 20th SEASON PREMIERE • Sex, Pies and Idiot Scrapes (KABF17)

After Homer spends a night in jail, he decides to go into the bounty hunting business, with a little help from Ned; Marge starts work at a bakery - unaware that its main line of goods is erotic cakes

Twentieth Television, the United States syndication distributor of The Simpsons, terminated its "barter" scheduling of the series in 1999. Accordingly, stations showing the series in syndication now possess full control over local scheduling, making national listings a thing of the past. Regrettably, we cannot provide listings for the hundreds of stations now independently programming the syndicated airings in their local markets. Fans should instead refer to online television listings services such as Zap2it, Yahoo or TV Guide for local information. But when Bart pulls a prank involving some Jell-O, they become hopelessly stranded. Homer tries to cheer Marge up by recounting some of the greatest love stories of all time, beginning with Bonnie and Clyde (as Marge and Homer) who steal each others’ hearts as they rob their town dry. Next, Marge tells the story of two dogs, Sadie (Marge) and Scamp (Homer), in her take on “Lady and the Tramp.” Lastly, Bart spins the final romantic tale in his recounting of the rock-and-roll romance of the The Sex Pistols when Nancy Spungeon (Lisa) falls for the rebellious Sid Vicious (Nelson). Bart is also in the segment as Johnny Rotten.
